Street art in Sant Antoni

Sant Antoni’s town centre is also the scene of all kinds of artistic expression. One of the most striking aspects of this phenomenon is the Ruta ArtUrbà (the street art route). The route map guides visitors through the town’s labyrinth of streets to discover the huge murals painted on the town’s walls and building façades.

There are 16 artworks along the route through Santoni’s streets depicting the works of artists from different countries such as the Ukraine, Italy, Chile, England, Belgium and Spain. This art form has been enriched and encouraged by the Bloop Festival which continues to grow and expand year on year. The whole route functions as a huge open-air art gallery with large format messages, replete with symbolism and aesthetic significance framed by the urban context of the buildings that display the art works.
